I'm so glad you're here

Hi, I’m Lynne Ramos, a certified Menopause Fitness Specialist, Strength & Mindset Coach - and a woman who’s lived the midlife fitness struggle firsthand.

I’ve always had an affinity for movement. As a child, it was gymnastics, track, basketball, and volleyball. Later, I joined the U.S. Army and thrived on every physical challenge thrown my way. Running was my primary exercise for years…until my knees had other plans. I tried it all - step aerobics, circuit training, bootcamps (go figure, right?) - but injuries kept creeping in. And then came that mysterious midsection fluff that didn’t budge, no matter how hard I worked.

With a learner brain and much determination, I went searching for answers on how to effectively train in perimenopause and menopause. Back then, science hadn’t caught up yet, so I stuck to what I knew…only to find out later that what “used to work” wasn’t designed for women in this phase of life.

But here’s what I discovered - when I lifted weights, something lit me up inside!

The challenge, the power, the muscle definition - it just felt right! Deep down, I knew this was the key to taking back my body and my confidence.

At 55, I made a bold move: I left my 20 year teaching career, became a certified personal trainer, and started from scratch - learning how to properly strength train then teach other midlife women how to do the same. Now, I specialize in science-backed, hormone-smart training that delivers results without overtraining, under eating, guessing, or spinning your wheels.

Today, through Raise the Bar with LR, I help women 40+ build strength, boost energy and gain body & mind confidence without complicated routines, gym intimidation or wasting time on what doesn’t work for their body and hormones.

My approach blends:

  • Strength training that aligns with your hormones to build muscle, boost metabolism and protect your body for life.

  • Mindset Coaching to shift from “stuck” to unstoppable.

  • Accountability so you never feel alone on the journey.

I’m a proud mom of 4, grandma of 4, wife, daughter, sister, and loyal sister-friend. When I’m not coaching or exercising, you’ll find me traveling, reading and podcasting, snapping photos or chasing sunshine (I swear I’m solar-powered).

If you’re ready to ditch the guesswork, stop overtraining, and finally get results that last, let’s connect and raise the bar - together.

MY MISSON

At Raise The Bar with LR, my mission is to empower midlife women to reclaim their strength, confidence, and vitality through science-backed, hormone-smart strength training and compassionate mindset coaching.

I believe that menopause is not an ending but a powerful new beginning - a chance to evolve, rediscover yourself, and step into the strongest, most radiant version of you.

With a foundation in science and a heart rooted in empathy, I guide women to train smarter (not harder), nourish their bodies, and build sustainable habits that honor this unique stage of life. Together, we turn frustration and confusion into clarity and confidence, so you feel strong, capable, and fully at home in your body again.

🧭 Why it’s worth investing in yourself:

You’re not paying for a few sessions or a quick fix. You’re investing in finally feeling like you again - clear, strong, and in control. This is about more than fitness. It’s about your future.

If you’re ready to stop guessing, stop spinning, and start showing up for yourself with a coach who truly gets it -
I’d love to walk this path with you.
